Interrelation of Predictors of Irrational Behavior, Individual-Typological and Personal Characteristics

A number of studies in cognitive psychology indicate that human behavior is largely governed by irrational factors (heuristics, biases, attitudes). These influence vital decisions, which can subsequently affect a person’s life and broad temporal perspective. There lack research on identifying the individual-typological personal characteristics make more likely to occur. Our aimed at revealing interrelation predictors (superstitiousness, “prelogical” defense, unconstructive, categorical, personally superstitious esoteric thinking, naive optimism), personality respondents. We used I. R. Abitov’s questionnaire, J. Tobacyk’s Paranormal Belief Scale adapted D. S. Grigoriev, Y. Stoyanova’s Beliefs Superstitions Questionnaire, Epstein’s Constructive Thinking Inventory (adapted N. Enikolopov V. Lebedev) reveal expression predictors.
